One day on the way to school he met an old blind man. "Come er' sonny" he said "I have somethin' to give ya." Ko Kee walked cautiously twords the man. "Hold out your hand" said the man. Holding out his hand the old man droped in it an egg. it was silver with weird disigns on it. "what is it?" asked Ko Kee. "This here is the last egg of the DoDo bird it was found by my father who then past it down to me, it is supposed to hatch tomrrow, since me bein' blind and all I was wondering if you could take care of it." He said " I guess I can take it I mean my mom is never home anyways" said Ko Kee "good, now run off and get to school Ko Kee" Ko Kee was shocked that the old man knew his name so he ran as if his life depended on it. He arrived at school just as the bell rang.
Chapter two:
Saturday, two thirty pm chirp chirp chirp! "did I set my alarm?" Ko kee thought to himself, he rolled over in bed no he didn't,he tried going back to sleep Chirp Chirp Chirp! There it was again but this time it was louder he turned over in bed to see this big bird stairing him in the face, it was the DoDo bird."Mom!" He yelled without moveing "what?" She asked entering into the room " what the heck is that thing doing in here?" "don't freak out mom it's only a Dodo bird this,blind guy gave me an egg yesterday and-" "I thought I told you not to talk to strangers" she interrupped. Ko Kee wen't on to explain all of what happened yesterday and they came to the conclusion of takeing care of it and then breeding it with a chicken, and that's how the Dodo bird was reastablished into america.
